Lvovo Explains Why He Suffered A Stroke

Kwaito Star Lvovo, whose real name is Thokozani Ndlovu has recently explained why he suffered a stroke. The musician suffered a stroke last month, which was followed by rumours on social media, claiming that he had died.

The fake news was immediately dismissed by his record label Derango Records who released a statement to crush these rumours.

Lvovo says he was involved in a car accident in May of 2022, which put him in a coma. He was then given treatment by doctors but he didn’t take it as he was supposed to. He also said his stroke was also caused by him not eating healthy foods.

He spoke to the papers and was quoted saying “I was instructed to take the treatment but I irresponsible did not take it well. I was taking it but not according to the doctor’s instructions. This is because I felt well, not knowing that I wasn’t fully recovered. I was also instructed to eat healthy which I didn’t do. I ate junk food and not so healthy food. That’s why I suffered a stroke. If you don’t feel well, please consult a doctor, please take the treatment and eat healthy. Life is precious and too short. When I’m sure that I have fully recovered I’ll go back to studio and make music. But for now I’m taking my time and taking care of myself.”

His fans were over the heels to know that his death was nothing but fake news. Especially after we already lost another musician to a stroke just a few weeks ago.

Please take care of yourself and never mix your medication with alcohol and an unhealthy diet. We all need to make is through 2023.

What are your words of encouragement to Lvovo and what is your favourite song by him?
